About Rob Walker

Studied fine art and graphic design after growing up on the farm in rural Northamptonshire. He spent over 30 years as a graphic designer, running his own business. As an award winning designer he produced work for many high-profile national and international companies. Moving to Devon to re-discover his love for art and the countryside he is now on a journey to create works in a variety of media that reflect his life, ethos and passions ...and take in and be inspired by the beauty of rural Devon.
Rob's work has been recognised recently winning awards at the Westward Ho! and Bideford Society annual exhibition at the Burton Gallery. His picture was chosen by the public as their personal favourite from over 300 pictures. The Robin and Bullfinch from this series have been chosen by the RSPB as their Christmas Cards for 2016.
